Get the inside scoop on The Rise of the Resistance Ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

We wanted to give those of you journeying to Batu and wanting to experience the Rise of the Resistance in Galaxy's Edge some helpful tips!

Currently there is no Fastpass and no stand in line access to get on the ride.  The only way to get on is to use the My Disney Experience App. 

Here is what worked for us!

1. Arrive at Hollywood Studios as soon as it opens.
2. Everyone who wants to go on the ride needs to be in the park to make the reservation.
3. Open the My Disney Experience App- go the Rise of the Resistance icon and join a boarding party.
4. Make sure you select all members of your boarding party and press submit.
5. You will get a boarding party number. 
6. Once your number comes up you will get a notification from the My Disney Experience App.  You will have 2 hours to make your way to the ride.

We made our reservation at 7:20am and our boarding number was 105. We got on the ride at 7:30 PM

While we were exploring Batu we overheard a woman speaking to a cast member asking about ride availability.

She asked the cast member "Are you telling me that at 7:40am this ride is sold out for the entire day and we will not be able ride it?"  The cast member politely apologized and said that she was correct.

This is the best ride a Star Wars fan can experience and arguably the best ride in all of the Disney Parks.

While you are waiting be sure to grab some Blue Milk and pilot the Millennium Falcon!
